In a defensive matchup, Anthony Merideth recorded eight tackles, a sack and a forced fumble as Woodland Hills shut out Baldwin, 12-0, in the Allegheny 8 Conference. William Clark rushed for 113 yards for the Wolverines (1-4, 1-3), while Merideth scored the game’s only touchdown on a 3-yard run in the second quarter. - Trib High School Sports

No. 4 Upper St. Clair’s defense scored three times in the third quarter and its special teams blocked a 29-yard field goal attempt to end the game in its Allegheny 8 Conference win at Woodland Hills (0-4, 0-3). Jason Sweeney and Nate Ripley scored on interception and fumble returns, respectively, while the Panthers also added a safety.
