Mile Sanders breaks away for a 46 yard touchdown in the first half against Baldwin.

Cody McClelland threw for 116 yards including touchdowns passes of 12 yards to Tom Greene and 26 yards to Chris David.  McClelland also ran for a 30 yard touchdown.  Miles Sanders added to the scoring with touchdown runs of 13 and 46 yards.

On defense Woodland Hills was aided by two interceptions by Greene and another by Salaam MangumAlex Beasley also recovered a Baldwin fumble.  The Wolverines first score was set up by good field position following a blocked punt by Dontae Broadus.

The Wolverines built a 35-0 lead through three quarters.  The Highlanders got on the board with a fourth quarter touchdown.  Woodland Hills is now 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the AAAA Southeast conference.

Miles Sanders was named the State Senator Jay Costa Player of the Game.  Sanders rushed for 86 yards on 10 carries with two TD runs.

Forest Hills Patch: Wolverines Spoil Baldwin Homecoming, 35-7

Baldwin High School’s student body honored two of its stars on Friday night, crowning them at halftime as the school’s Homecoming king and queen.

But it was Woodland Hills High School’s football team that stole the show, dominating Baldwin High and spoiling the Highlanders’ Homecoming night with a 35-7 defeat.
