The #5 Wolverines took a 35-0 halftime lead over Plum Mustangs which held up through the second half. Quarterback Cody McClelland was 6 of 10 for 145 yards and two touchdowns highlighted by a short pass to Harry Randall who turned it into 73 yard touchdown. Khalil Harper also caught a 5 yard touchdown pass. McClelland has now thrown 10 touchdown passes on the year.
DeQuan White opened the scoring with a 2 yard run set up by a Khalil Harper’s interception on the Mustangs first possession. Miles Sanders added to the scoring with a 44 yard touchdown run and Daechaud Ausbrooks recorded the Wolverines second defensive touchdown in as many weeks with a 25 yard interception return.
Dontae Broadus filled in at linebacker for injured Alex Beasley was named the State Senator Jay Costa Player of the Game.
